So tomorrow grouper season closes for 2 months. What will me and Capt. Bob put you on now you may ask? Well, if you love fishing as much as Bob and I do,and the sound of screaming drag and the sight of a bent rod gets you excited as well as it does us, you need to fish with us these next 2 months. Capt. Bob will put you on some monster Amberjacks and all kinds of snapper- yellowtail, mangrove, lane, mutton, and if your lucky maybe a cubera! We also catch a ton of blue porgy and triggerfish on the wrecks and live bottom we fish. Just because grouper season is closed does not mean that we will not be able to still fill the freezer! So book a charter these next couple of months and see how much fun and how much fish we will put you on.

Thanks so much, Brandon

Capt. Bob and Brandon, first mate, provided excellent service, and another memorable experience. Dept. dock at 6:30 Am on January 24, and returned at 5:45 PM. Fished numerous spots and caught limits of Red Grouper (28), plus nice Snappers and Porgy's. Capt. Bob knows the Gulf water hot spots. He knows the program to catch fish, right bait anchoring, controled drift, etc.

Coming from the Midwest i didn't know what to expect. All I can say is WOW. This was a fishing experience of a lifetime. Capt. Bob and Brandon were first to none. You could tell that they prided themselves on ensuring the customers had a great experience. No matter what your fishing expertise is, Capt. Bob takes care of you and ensures you get into some fish, and big ones at that. I have never caught so many different and nice fish in one day. Though I was a first-timer fishing in the Gulf, it will definitely not be my last time fishing with Capt. Bob. This fishing adventure was one to remember! Thanks Capt. Bob and Brandon for the time of my life...Can't wait to go back. Good weather, good capt., good fish=a GREAT time.

This was my first time fishing offshore and it was the best fishing trip ever. I don't have any other captains to compare captain Bob to but now I know I won't need to. He's the best for sure. He put us on some great holes and he made sure everyone was happy and we got our fish for the day. Even with crappy weather he had the balls to take us fishing. The first mate JC was awesome too. Very glad he was there cause pulling the anchor up looked to me to be more difficult then the grouper. if you got time get the money and he will get you the fish. I promise.

Got a call from Capt. Bob Breton that he had a spot for me on his Sat. charter, I jumped at the chance to do some offshore fishing. Right off the bat, the bait was tough to find but we finally hit the right spot and loaded up the well. Thinking that we should get our fill of red grouper Capt. Bob headed out to some deeper water where some real "hogs" might be found. We started fishing in about 140' of water and the fish had lip lock, plenty of fish on the bottom, but they were not feeding. It took what seemed like an hour before we had our first fish on the boat. Even at this depth we found plenty of small fish, seemed like a commercial boat had hit several of the first several spots we tried. (We had seen a comm boat earlier in the same area.) As the sun rose higher and the mid-day approached we found some spots that held the big fish we were after. The grouper were feeding very gingerly, the baits had to be kept still on the bottom with no bouncing the sinkers. They were just mouthing the baits gently. In the next two hours we had our two fish limits with half the red grouper in the 15# to 18# range. I managed a very nice mango and we had several very nice lane snapper as well. We then headed out to 162' of water to a wreck that not only held some nice AJs but some of the biggest 'cudas I have ever seen. they were all circling the boat, but not actively feeding. We had one huge cuda on that was chewed to shreds, with only the head left to land!! The AJs were all over but the only live bait they seemed interested in were the blue runners that we had tried to avoid while catching our baits earlier in the day. I stuck it out with my jigging, as it had worked so well with the grouper earlier. The problem was that when I had an AJ on, a cuda would go after the jig and cut me off. I had several jigs cut off, one AJ I caught on the jig resulted in another AJ going for the same jig and actually breaking the second hook off. I assume he used the other aj as leverage to snap the assist hook off. Soon it was time to make the long run home and we settled for the 4 AJs we had on ice. Sat. was a hot day, and I can not think of a better way to spend it than offshore catching some fine fish. If you are looking for a great time and some good catching, get out there!!! Thanks again Capt. Bob Breton, for giving me that opportunity. Now I have to head North and see if I can get some Cod fishing in before the waters warm up in the mid atlantic.
